PICASSIATE PORTRAIT MAKING...12/01 -12/3...Friday- Sunday...Tucson, AZ.

First time for Picassiate in the Valley!

Learn all of the ins and outs of working with china and porcelain dishes! Gila's extensive knowledge of the subject is sure to leave you having learned a lot and wanting to do more!  Students will need to bring a collection of dishes to supplement those supplied. It is especially nice if you have broken or damaged china dishes of sentimental value you wanted to do something with! Previous experience requested. Must at least understand tool use of Wheeled Nipper/ glass scorer & running pliers, etc

Gila Rayberg arrived at the visual arts scene after a successful career as a freelance musician and educator. Allowing her strong sense of intuition and love of experimentation to guide her, Gila has developed a unique voice in the realm of mosaic portraiture. She exhibits regularly throughout the United States, and has won numerous awards for her expressive mosaic portraits.
